Join LandPaths for a writing workshop inspired by everything nature has to offer at beautiful Rancho Mark West. Led by Communications Lead Leilani Clark, this workshop will you get your creative juices flowing in a low-pressure, fun, friendly, and supportive manner. We’ll start the day with a couple of easy, thought-provoking writing prompts, which you are welcome to share out loud if desired (no pressure), followed by a leisurely hike around the property which includes the remarkable, salmon-bearing Mark West Creek, an organic teaching garden, and towering stands of Redwood trees. During the hike we’ll do a short writing prompt inspired by place and our surroundings, before we head over to the lake for one more writing prompt. No critiques, just friendly listening and an appreciation for each other’s courageous expression of ideas and thoughts. This event is most suitable for adults and children 12 and over. Bring a pen, journal, lunch and snacks, and a willingness to open yourself to the unique creative impulse inspired by nature and community.

Level of difficulty: Easy
