LandPaths and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District invite you to explore the wild and lovely Riddell Preserve for a trail-opening celebration. Hike the newly finished “Cabin Trail,” preview the “Cabin Loop,” which will be completed next, enjoy drinks and snacks, and participate in some light trail-building stewardship if desired. While this event is not “kid-focused,” kids who will enjoy hiking at least two miles are more than welcome to attend.
The celebration will mark the completion of The Cabin Trail and the Spur Trail at the Riddell Preserve. Working in collaboration with the Sonoma County Trails Council, LandPaths expects to complete an entire trail system — including approximately six new miles of trail — within three years, expanding access to the preserve for camps, school outings, and gatherings on the Riddell deck.
