Plant Magic! A Botanical Skincare Workshop in the Garden

Join us for an afternoon of botanical DIY in the garden!

Sonoma Ecology Center and Sonoma County Ag + Open Space invite you to explore sustainability and self care in this hands-on, educational workshop at Sonoma Garden Park. We all want to decrease costs, reduce our accumulation of plastic, and feel incredible—let’s look to the benefits of botanicals to create simple, zero-waste beauty product swaps that are gentle on our bodies and the environment.

Led by a local herbalist, we’ll learn how to:

Make a nourishing skin salve
Create an herbal haircare infusion
Develop a facial steam recipe
Incorporate the incredible properties of plants into your self care routine!

Treat yourself to an afternoon of community, learning, and self care, and gather tips and tricks to help you experiment with more handmade botanical creations at home.

Please wear shoes for uneven terrain, a hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle. Bring a clean jar if you have one!

This workshop is FREE to attend thanks to the voters of Sonoma County, who fund the work of Sonoma County Ag + Open Space through a quarter cent sales tax.
