Mother’s Day Make & Take: Painting Potted Plants

Join Sonoma Ecology Center and Sonoma County Ag + Open Space and make a beautiful, earth-friendly gift for a special mom or nurturer in your life! Led by local gardener and Sonoma Garden Park volunteer Sarah Mendel, workshop participants will use quick drying acrylic paint to decorate a terra cotta pot, then fill it with plants from the garden.

All materials will be provided, and no painting or planting experience is required. Just bring your creativity and come prepared to get messy. All ages are welcome, though children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

This outing is FREE to attend thanks to the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter cent sales tax.
