Mushroom Madness

We’re glad you’ll be joining us as we foray for fungi!  We will most likely be walking 2 miles but may go as far as 3-4 miles with up to 800 feet of elevation gain. The distance we cover all depends on how many mushrooms we find. Our foray may include a small creek crossing – waterproof boots recommended – and lots of stops to look at the fungi and other flora and time to talk about their characteristics. We will be visiting a property (TBD) in Santa Rosa protected by your Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District.
