Designation of Trail Corridors and Associated Staging Areas

The Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District holds both a conservation easement and a public trail easement on the Bordessa Ranch property near Valley Ford. This coastal prairie property along the Estero Americano hosts a variety of wildlife species, including burrowing owls and short-eared owls.

Community Scoping Open House

The County will hold a public scoping meeting to provide an opportunity for agency staff and interested members of the public to submit comments on the scope of the environmental issues to be addressed in the Environmental Impact Report.

The scoping meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Valley Ford School House located at 14355 School Rd, Valley Ford, CA. This meeting will have an “open house” format, so participants can attend at any point during the 2-hour window. Participants arriving after 6:00 pm will not miss any meeting content.
