Strawberries are back in season! There is nothing like a freshly picked ruby strawberry to invoke the arrival of summer. Join us to meet innovative and inspiring landowners Seth and Sarah James of Open Field Farm. Take a walking tour of the property where they raise grass-fed beef and grow vegetables, flowers, and herbs using all organic and biodynamic practices. Experience Open Field Farm’s passion for sustainable agriculture, community, and the natural environment. Strawberry sampling afterwards of fruit fresh from the field. BYO picnic lunch to enjoy at the barn!

This is an Agricultural Heritage Series event presented by the Sonoma Resource Conservation District and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. This outing is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the Agricultural and Open Space District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax.
