Take advantage of this special invitation to experience the exceptional artisan cheeses from the home ranch of the Pacheco Family. The Achadinha (Osh-a-deen-a) Cheese Company is a family-operated ranch led by Jim and Donna Pacheco along with their four children — William, Daniel, Elizabeth, and David. Hear their family story starting three generations back in Portugal and how they’ve diversified their ranch in Petaluma as we tour the cheese plant, visit with the gals (goats and cows), and relish in a complimentary cheese tasting. Cheeses are available to purchase direct from Donna after the tour!
This is an Agricultural Heritage Series outing hosted by the Sonoma Conservation Resource District. This outing is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and in partnership with Achadinha Cheese Company.
