Wright Preservation Bank

The District acquired this property adjacent to Santa Rosa in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Board. One of the largest and least disturbed vernal pool habitats in the Laguna it supports Sebastopol meadowfoam, Burke’s Goldfield and California Tiger salamander. The California Department of Fish and Game is working with a Certified Rangeland Manager to develop a grazing program to promote and support the health of the vernal pool plants.
