This property is an important buffer between Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, east of Highway 101. Currently, a local rancher harvests hay on a portion of the property, and the District plans to lease a portion of the property to a local farmer for a small-scale agricultural operation. In the interim, travelers can continue to appreciate the rural character of the property adjacent to the urban boundary of Rohnert Park.
