Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District

Paulin Creek

Birders’ bliss in the heart of Santa Rosa! Native oak and madrone, grassland and the riparian corridor of Paulin Creek all provide a home for a diversity of birds and other wildlife. Purchased by the District in partnership with the City, through the District’s Matching Grant Program, this open space preserve is an important ecosystem in the middle of an urban environment. In partnership with Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Water Agency, a 46-acre Open Space Preserve will be created. Guided tours are available.
