An agreement between the City of Santa Rosa and the District permanently protects this richly diverse landscape visible from the Highway 12 scenic corridor. The broad ribbon of water and wetlands is home to hundreds of plants, birds, fish and invertebrates. A master plan is in process to develop trails through the Laguna to welcome visitors to enjoy this birder’s paradise.
