The property acts as a community separator property between Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park. The site includes an old orchard and vernal pools. The District has supported on-going research and studies on the property regarding the presence of the California Tiger Salamander, as well as the endangered Sonoma sunshine and Sebastopol meadowfoam.
