This farm, just east of Highway 101 north of Santa Rosa is part of what will protect the City and Windsor from growing together. It is operated by the James Family, that has farmed in Sonoma County for over 25 years. The family leases the property from the District through the Small Farms Initiative, which encourages local farmers like the James Family to actively cultivate agricultural land in community separators. Local residents can sign up for a subscription service to receive a fresh box of vegetables from the farm weekly!
